Data Deletion

If you messaged a learning center via Facebook Messenger

When you message a learning center's Facebook Page that uses Klei, we store your Facebook name, profile ID, and conversation messages to facilitate communication with the learning center. We only receive messages sent after the learning center connects their Facebook Page to Klei — prior conversation history is not collected.

To request deletion of this data:

1. Email us — Send a deletion request to privacy@klei.io with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the name of the Facebook Page you messaged so we can locate your data.
2. We'll confirm — We will delete your data within 30 days and send you a confirmation email once complete.

If you are a learning center administrator

To request deletion of your account and all associated data:

1. Email privacy@klei.io from the email address associated with your Klei account.
2. Include "Account Deletion Request" as the subject line.
3. We will process the request within 30 days. This includes deletion of all student records, enrollment data, and conversation history managed through your account.

What gets deleted (for Messenger users)

• Your Facebook name and profile ID stored in our system
• All Messenger conversation messages associated with your profile
• Any inquiry records created from your Messenger interactions

Note: Deletion from Klei does not affect messages stored on Facebook's servers. To manage that data, use Facebook's Privacy Checkup.
